Deadliest Neighborhood.

Today's Detroit News included an article entitled "Detroit's Deadliest Neighborhood".  Guess where?  The same neighborhood where Mom grew up.  Check out the interactive map at http://www.detroitnews.com/article/20110902/SPECIAL01/110901003  Marie, I guess we were right when we were so scared that day we went to photograph the Troester house.  YIKES!!

Sprinkling

As I was ironing this morning, being extremely grateful for permanent press, I remembered mom. Remember the sprinkling pop bottle with water, before they had steam irons (or permanent press)?
